How to use YS3060 to measure the color of Tea Wine Rice Coffee
As we learnd last post for how to measure liquid by using YS6060 benchtop spectrophotometer, today we will teach you how to use portable spectropphotometer YS3060 to measure the color of tea or wine or rice or coffee.
But please pay attention to this kind of measurement for liquid or powder, it is to check the color difference for them not the absolute CIE lab value. you can compare the actual L, a, b value with other brands, but our color difference delta E is very good for customers to use.
Here are the steps to measure tea and rice color difference by YS3060 portable spectrophotometer.
First, prepare the instrument YS3060 spectrophotometer ready for measurement. Do white and black calibration before using YS3060.
Secondly, pour the tea or rice into the glass cell that is a optiona accessory called Universal test components ( UTC) for YS3060 & ys3020 & ys3010 grating spectrophotometer.This UTC accessory is optional one to buy if customers need it.
Thirdly, put the glass cell into UTC.
Then measure sample A, and take out of sample A, and compare with sample B. Finally we will get a test result for CIE lab delta E.
If you don't want to use the press button in the instrument, you can connect to PC with our software SQCX by USB cable or Bluetooth functiion, which is very conveninent for measurement.
