The Silk / Sineimage / X-Rite White Balance Chart White Balacing Test Pattern YE0178 For Shading Measurement  consists of a blank film between two glass plates.
 
Test charts and other transparency measurements Shade measurements under the same lightning conditions.
 
Shade measurements can be made on the luminaire (LG2, LE6) without any chart. However, lightning conditions are different from other measurements of test transparencies. The light intensity of the luminaire changes by using test transparency.

This is caused by two superimposed factors:
 
a) Film and glass filter effect (25% light absorption) and
 
b) Relief of light ack in illuminator
 
Although factor a) is dominated by LG2, mitigation factor b) predominates in lightning ball LE6, ie the intensity of light is significantly increased upon insertion of the test pattern. It is important to use the YE0178 in order to measure the shading under the same lighting conditions as the other measurements.
 
White shading or white horizontal uniformity
 
Define the maximum white level change for each area of the picture when the camera is pointing at a uniform illuminated test pattern.
